Gisela Woldenga is an author and an actress living in Coquitlam, British Columbia. She is the author of numerous short stories, children's stories, poems and five recent fiction novels - The Old House, Broken Strings, The Destiny of Dreams, The Special Room , Chords of Dissension, Beyond the Stone Arch and her latest The Light on the Mountain.

She started publishing children’s stories and short stories in 1996. At the same time she joined a writer’s group in Port Moody BC. Two years later she also tried her luck in a different branch of the arts: acting. Both activities have been fun and uplifting for her over the years.

In 2007 Scholastic Canada published Flying Acrobats and in 2010 she self-published her first novel The Destiny of Dreams.
